Spring Obsessions

Obviously I suck at keeping my blog updated. But I’m trying to redeem myself with a really fun post!
Lately, it has been super warm and sunny and nice outside, which has gotten me soooooo unbelievably excited for spring to officially arrive in 17 days! But because of the early arrival of warm temps, I have already been indulging in some of the spring 2011 trends.
Instead of doing a lot of writing today (since I am currently avoiding schoolwork, as usual) I will just rely on pictures to tell you what I LOVE this upcoming season and what is on my wish list (or stuff I have already purchased!)
Trends include:
-Chunky ’70s inspired heels and wedges
-Braided leather (or faux leather) belts
-Nautical-themed pieces, like rompers (which I LOVE)
-Soft, sheer colors, like baby pink and light gray
-Softly structured bags in neutrals
-Neon colors are also on trend – bright, eye-catching nail polish looks especially chic with a more neutral-based outfit
